You should check out paper quilling for scrapbooking embellishments…you can make some really cool quilled patterns and its not all that expensive to buy the materials (although not available in most stores, so you have to get online.) Quilling is a great way to embellish your scrapbooks. If you don’t know what it is, its basically coiling thin strips of paper into fun designs like quilled flowers, animals, letters, etc. I discovered it not too long ago and I think its pretty cool and definitely a neat paper embellishment for scrapbooks; plus its pretty unique!
